ALEXIS RODRIGUEZ-DUARTE not only has an exhibition of photographs of CELIA CRUZ, but has an entire book coming out as well! alexis was a good friend of celia and photographed her over many years. the book PRESENTING CELIA CRUZ will be released by CLARKSON POTTER/PUBLISHERS this october. the exhibition of photographs is at the MIAMI-DADE PUBLIC LIBRARY CULTURAL CENTER. the exhibition opening is on TUESDAY OCTOBER 26 at 6:30 pm and runs through december 12. all black and white prints were printed here at sixty eight degrees.

MICHAEL JAMES O'BRIEN at MARION DE BEAUPRE
michael james o'brien's opening of photographs will be on october 20th at MARION DE BEAUPRE in paris. the exhibit includes black and white landscapes and color portraits and still lifes.
